Wordless Wednesday: Magic Kingdom in the evening!

Wishing. . .

I find that I spend a lot of time wishing that I could be in Disney World.  This desire could be triggered by anything.  For example, if I smell a hamburger cooking on a grill, I can't help but wish that I could be in Frontierland.  When I hear my Disney clock play its song on every hour mark, I can't help but wish that I could be staring at the castle instead of my dirty carpet or the work that I still have to do as the day wears into night.  When I look at the background photo on my computer, I can't help but wish that I could be riding Everest instead of emptying the dishwasher or doing the laundry.  Basically, I spend 95% of my day wishing that I could be at the happiest place on earth instead of wherever I happen to be at that moment.  I spend the rest of the time counting down until it is actually time for me to arrive back on the hallowed ground that is owned by the mouse.  Now, this might sound like crazy talk.  I mean, I am 29 years old, isn't it time for me to grow up and stop believing in magic?  My answer to that question is definitely, "no."  When the magic is gone, life is not really going to be any fun.  Who wants to be stuck in reality all of the time anyway?  Well, it is 16 more days until I can breathe the free air of the Magic Kingdom and sniff the pungent smell of the Polynesian or the slightly moldy, yet still lovely, scent of the Pirate water.  Until then, I will spend my time wishing. . .
